Scheduling
ZWMS Counselors create schedules for incoming fifth, sixth, and seventh graders. They also work with 8th graders to choose their high school elective choices. Middle to High School Transition
The courses listed below, when taken before grade 9, do not count for high school credit/GPA or appear on a student’s high school transcript. These courses will not count to meet the requirements for the high school diploma if they are taken prior to grade 9.

The high school courses listed below earn high school credit when taken prior to grade 9. High school grades and credit are awarded, and the course will appear on a student’s high school transcript, count toward his/her high school GPA, and fulfill requirements of the high school diploma.
